I always have fun there! Brian, the owner is usually around and always making sure you are enjoying your night! Karaoke on Fridays is the best! Have a few drinks, get on stage, and sing in front of a hundred or more people! They are always having specials too. Pretty much head in here if you are looking for a lively night on the weekends without a club vibe.

Local neighborhood irish pub... Cheap liquor and beer. After 9pm they have $2 taps-- yes! Food is pretty decent for such a tiny place. Traditional bar food, nothing spectacular but it helps you soak up your liquor content. Keep in mind this is a very tiny place, a hole in the wall. When there's about 30 people there, the place is packed.

Great college bar (especially Friday nights) - packed with young kids. Karaoke is a lot of fun. Allowing smoking inside is the only problem. Recommended!

I have been to this place twice and had a blast each time. This is one of the best irish pubs I have been to. The bar is a good size with great music, a good crowd and great bartenders and drink deals. I came here with a couple friends just looking to have a drink and ended up have a lot of drinks ended up closing the place down. Here you can dance, sing, talk, drink, play darts and have a great time. I came here on a Wednesday night and they had $7 pitchers of rum and coke! You can't beat that. The bartenders serve you fast and are polite. This is a place you got to check out!

Great bar. Reasonable prices, especially for Boca. Always have a great time thanks to a friendly staff. Bingo on Thursdays...lots of fun. Have met alot of nice people during happy hour.

I love this bar! It's my kind of place! Seriously though, this place is awesome! It's laidback, the bartenders are second to none, and the drink prices are the best in town. Great place to watch your favorite sporting event as there are several big screen LCD's throughout the bar, or just hang out with friends, play some darts, bowl, or just munch on some free popcorn!! Truly 2 thumbs up for O'Brian's and it's staff!!

this bar is fun, sketchy and just the way I like it. good music, good atmosphere, cheap booze. only crappy thing is smoking is allowed and its like a damn ashtray in there.

very smokey place, my drink tasted funny, its weird how grey goose tastes different at this bar than everywhere else. lots of under age loud kids not really my scene. wont be returning

This new bar in Boca is TERRIFIC. The live music is great. The Bartenders are truly the best around and the crowd is as good as it gets. There is a healthy mix of locals including good girl-to-guy ratio. It has only been open a week but I consider this bar my favorite.

Haven't seen a place like this in Florida in a long time. Went there early afternoon killing some time. Dark and cool even with Temps in the high 90s and the front door propped open. Feels like a pub, good selection of beers, a few old timers at the bar staving off the shakes and smoking, a couple cute girls working and hanging out, and a few folks in between. Perfect day time "disappear for a while" type joint. I would try at night for sure. If I were meeting someone shady, hiding out, or with nothing else to do on an all too sunny day I would definitely come back early afternoon too.

  • Nancy M.

Place is packed..great music..not so packed where you can't move..just busy enough to be arm length away from the next patty partier...cool little spot..oh yeah..I can smoke inside the bar ..huge plus. The music was great and the beers were a dollar more than some places but it felt great being inside the bar with the air conditioning. Watching the sea of green through the window opening where they served drinks to the outdoor patrons kept me non sweaty and comfortable as I had a beer waiting on friends.

If it wasn't for Greshka, I probably would have never came here. It's been a few years since I've been out on St. Patrick's Day. It was packed, which is no surprise since all Irish pubs are on that fabulous holiday. The outside was filled with beer and liquor as well as drunkards and a live band. Luckily, the ladies got a spot at the bar near the entrance when I got there. The craziness continued inside as well. The bartenders went nuts trying to get everyone their drink orders with a jam packed bar. It's understandable when there is a celebration going on. The thing I didn't like about the place is that you can smoke in there. Gotta smoke? Take it outside and avoid the inside smelling like ashtray. Of course, it's not my bar, so I don't make the rules. However, it was a great time with some great friends.

O'Brians is the greatest bar ever. $7 Liquor pitchers with Karaoke on Fridays? Yes please. The owner Brian is the man.

    (5)
  • Danielle J.

O'Brians is probably my least favorite bar now that I am not in college. They still allow smoking in this bar so usually by the end of the night I leave smelling like an ashtray. I never liked this as I got older because I hated going to Mizner Park smelling like that. The pitcher is the best deal and probably the most liquor I have ever drank in my life. The staff are super friendly, but it gets crazy busy here. When it's busy you are being pushed and man handled all over the place and I cannot stand that. I would definitely got to a different bar if I was in the area here.

    (2)
  • Alex L.

This might be the only place in Boca that I ever felt resembled a college bar. Most of the patrons look extremely young and it can get stupidly crowded with drunk boys attempting to flirt with even more wasted girls. If you just want to go and feel like you're 20 again, definitely stop by this place on a Friday night. Otherwise, probably not the bar to hang out at. I mean, they have liquor pitchers.

My second time goin to OB's last night after a movie and had a great time!! 2$ yings is hard to pass up!! I thought it was 2$ fireball but was wrong but I was ok with paying 6$ a shot...cause they were huge!! It reminds me of kens/public house in tallahassee which brings me to my next winning point...FSU flags are there so I'll for sure be back!!

Fun place on St. Patricks day. Brings a young college crowd, so I was a bit out of of that are range. I love the chill vibe and it reminds me of bars i used to hang out at in Boston My only com plaint is that there is smoking allowed inside. i get that the law states depending on the % of food sales to liquor, you can still have smoking indoors. Personally, I just think it is gross and I don't want to be inhaling carcinogens while i chill with my friends, so I guess I'll patronize places that don't allow it until Florida can get with times and ban indoor smoking

Why did I bother on agreeing to walk from Mizner Park to this dud of a place? It was full of young people that looked like they entered with fake id's! It is loaded with cigarette smoke.... *gags* I didn't want to stay any longer, but my friend wanted to meet up with a friend there for a moment. I was a bit hungry for a nibble, so I ordered some perogies. They were decent and creamy in the center. I was so happy to finally leave this bar cause the smoky interiors began to give me a headache. I hate inhaling second hand smoke. I had to wash my hair when I came home because it smelled like cigarettes! Even though the bartenders and bouncers were really nice and quick with everything.... still, I am definitely not coming back.

As promised, I came back! St. Patrick's day is a big celebration for them. Tents placed outside with beer trucks, or I should say full bar trucks. Liquor for $6, beer for $4. Some green items for sale, in case you forgot to "dress up" for the occasion. Live band, big crowd, good fun. After an hour or so, we move inside. A bit of a wait in line but not bad. Got a spot at the bar, ordered our green beer pitcher (for only $10), and started making stories with their 'Mad Libs' type napkins. Not only fun but a great conversation starter. We had some help creating them, and even made some new friends. All of the sudden we realized we had green teeth and lips, instead of hiding them, we just laugh more, meeting others with the same green beer effect. We all decided to take action and after finishing our beer we switched to Car Bombs, to wash the green out, and celebrate the 'holiday' a bit more. O'Brian's was definitely the perfect choice for us to celebrate in green.

O'Brian's is a fun little stop that has a decent selection of beers and standard liquor. Positives are a genuine atmosphere of real people, fair prices, and free popcorn. In the evening, they have jukebox music and karaoke and the college crowd comes in. It gets crowded but it's a good time. While the bar itself doesn't directly serve food, they have a working relationship with the place next door that has really tasty hot sandwiches and sides that are way better than traditional bar fare -- ordered, paid, and delivered to/from your table. The big drawback is the cigarette smoke. It is unbearable. Despite having a large, open front, there is no circulation and the smoke forms a large, bellowing, cancerous atmosphere. But the drinks aren't too expensive, so you can save money for dry cleaning and emphysema treatment.

  • Jon S.

Best bar in boca, hands down. Great environment, nice/pretty bartenders, cheap drinks, and great food. You can still smoke in the bar but still eat there. This is really the only bar I go to. Everything about the place is perfect. If you're looking for a feet place to watch football look no further. Week 1 of NFL season they roast an entire pig. Usually give out free food on football Sundays but sometimes have special food for inexpensive. Also his chili is insanely good.

St. Patty's Day!! Woot Woot.. (1st Stop of the night) I guess O'brian's is a miss or hit kind of thing. Some nights it is really fun and other nights it is like ghost town! They had the road blocked off and a stage outside for several bands. The DJ was pretty good. The bar area outside was awesome. It was lined up almost throughout the whole street and no waiting in lines. To start it off I decided to have Jack Daniels and Coke.. I was for sure it would taste like captain and coke for some odd reason. Wrong idea!! I almost puked when I tried it. Not a whiskey fan! YUCK! So I changed it up to Captain and coke instead. Hungout outside for a while and then decided to go into O'brians. The line to get in was annoying. Security guards letting people cut in line when they knew them but lucky them.. I guess they are there all the time to get that type of privilege. Finally! we make our way in and we find a small section at the bar. We ordered our pitcher of green beer! minutes later we had green smiles. Pretty funny! Bartenders were on a role getting orders and several working so it was fast service! Drinks were reasonable. $10 dollars for pitchers and drinks were $6. We made some cool friends and this is where the CAR BOMBS begin! ahh. Very intense and super fun! had two of them and then more green beer.. O'brians definitely made the night! Music was good too! Off to the next stop....
